The materials drawing up requirements for authors

1 TYPING AND TEXT PLACING

The text should be typed on sheets of format А4 (210x297 mm).

Fields: bottom and top - 2,5 sm, left and right - 2,0 sm; distances from edge to running title - 2,0 sm, the print - Times New Roman, the size 14. The paragraph space - 10 mm. The presented paper copies should be provided from the final file (an electronic variant of article).

Articles can be written on one of the following languages: Russian or English.

THE TEXT MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SET:

ARTICLE NAMEin Russian (Belarusian) and English (capital letters, semi bold, without carryings over, alignment at the left)
Name, Surname, degree, academic status, position, work place (without reductions) - (usual, alignment at the left)
The ANNOTATION in Russian and English (capital letters, usual, alignment at the left);
The ANNOTATION TEXT (usual, alignment on width);
INTRODUCTION (capital letters, usual, alignment at the left);
The INTRODUCTION TEXT (usual, alignment on width);
The NAME of the FIRST SECTION of the BASIC PART (capital letters, usual, alignment at the left);
The TEXT of the FIRST SECTION of the BASIC PART (usual, alignment on width: the subsequent sections of the basic part are made out similarly to the first);
The CONCLUSION (capital letters, usual, alignment at the left);
The CONCLUSION TEXT (usual, alignment on width);
The REFERENCES(capital letters, usual, alignment at the left);
The TEXT of the REFERENCES(usual, alignment on width; the first lines of paragraphs are not allocated with spaces).

2 PREPARATION OF DRAWINGS (DIAGRAMS, PHOTOS, ETC.)

Names of drawings and the signatures to them are typed on separate page with print 13, single line interval spacing. Drawings must be given as separate files in TIFF or CDR (Corel Draw) formats.

DRAWINGS IN MSWORD ARE FORBIDDEN

Photos are to be scanned with the image resolution not less than 300 dpi black-and-white or colour image and save in format TIFF and also given in the form of separate files.

Drawings should have the area of 100-150 sm² ; the text on them - light, direct, typeface is Arial, the size is correlated with drawing scale.

THE NUMBER OF DRAWINGS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5

(drawings designated at one number but with different letters (a, b or c) are considered as separate). Drawings should be simple as much as possible and suitable for reduction in scale that will allow to place them in a column with 80 mm width. Drawings should not be installed in the article text, each of them is to be applied in a separate file, and also printed on separate page.

3 FORMULAS AND TABLES

For formulas you are to use editing program Microsoft Equation 3.0 or the editor of formulas Math Type 5.0 Equation which are in Word for Windows (Service, Adjustment, Commands, in the left window to choose Set-in, in the right window — the Editor of formulas and move a necessary sign on the panel of tools.) Established sizes: Full - 9 pt; Subscript/Superscript - 6 pt; Sub-Subscript/Superscript - 4 pt; Symbol - 9 pt; Sub-Symbol - 6 pt.

Formulas in the manuscripts confirming a physical essence of research are represented without developed mathematical transformations; their quantity should not exceed 10.

Formulas are to be packed so that subsequently they could be placed in a column with 80 mm width, and be located in the centre of a line which ends with the formula serial number put in parentheses. The reference to formula number in the text also should be bracketed.

Tables are to be typed on separate pages and settle down in the end of article. The name of the table and the serial number (or number of the table without name) should be over the table. The head of the table should be typed with the print of 12 with single line interval spacing, the main text is 14. It is necessary to use horizontal lines over and under headings of columns, under the table, and also vertical dividing lines for headings of columns.

Authors should avoid repetition of the same data in tables, schedules and article text.

It is necessary to present materials on a diskette 1.44 Мb, СD or by e-mail (info@belniis.by). Sending by e-mail the message volume should not exceed 1,5 Mb.

The complete set of materials consists of:

printed report prepared according to stated requirements and signed by authors;
the expert advice about possibility of publication in mass media;
the annotation in Russian and English.
