High-Performance Insulating Panels for Fencing Constructions of Buildings

ABSTRACT


The paper presents the volume of the yield of grain crops straw and flax shive and comparative analysis of the main physical and mechanical properties of thermal insulation materials based on straw and flax shive. The results of electron microscopy of rye straw and flax allowing to explain the obtained indices of physical and mechanical characteristics of straw-boon slabs are examined. The effectiveness of thermal insulation straw-boon slabs was demonstrated through full-scale testing of the outer wall fence with a ventilated insulation system. The article provides a calculation of outer wall fence humidity conditions with a ventilated insulation system under stationary conditions.
