ABSTRACT

The influence of oblique ribs on the bending and torsional stiffness of thin-walled prismatic bars open profile. Examples of the calculation of the beam deflection at midspan with different thickness, angle and number of inclined ribs bending stiffness. Address the issue of accounting stiffness pure torsion in thin-walled prismatic rods.
